Louie Perea (b.1999 in Santa Fe, NM) is a visual artist based in New Mexico. Louie received their BA in Interdisciplinary Arts and Psychology from the University of New Mexico. Louie draws inspiration from their experience navigating between their Afro-Latinx and nonbinary identity.

Emerging from the intersection of otherness and representation, Louie's work delves into recurring themes of black queerness, identities within the diaspora, and their evolving visual representation.
